Dair-o-haram hai gard-e-raah - ‘Firaq’ Gorakhpuri




Aah wo manzil-e-muraad, door bhi hai qareeb bhi
Der hui ki kaafiley uski taraf rawaan nahin

Dair-o-haram hai gard-e-raah, naksh-e-qadam hai mehr-o-maah
In mein koi bhi ishq ki manzil-e-kaarwaan nahin
